We are in need of friendly, reliable, book-loving students for the SML Children’s Book Festival. The festival will feature award-winning authors at LSUS on Saturday, May 6th from 10 am – 4 pm. Volunteers will need to arrive at 9:30 am.
Student volunteers will be assigned a costume and interact (mingle, take pics, give hugs) with children as that book character. We also need volunteers (not in costume) to assist the students in costume. Please let me know if you have interested students. They can volunteer for the entire day or for a 90-minute block.
