NJCAA Basketball Tournament Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers needed for Men’s and Women’s collegiate basketball tournament next week Just need a few more volunteers

Shreveport - Bossier is hosting the 2020 Region 14 NJCAA Basketball Tournament this March.

Perk - meal on the shift you work, snacks and you get one our new Shreveport - Bossier Sports Commission Shirts if you don't already have one.

Volunteers are needed to take tickets( volunteers do not handle money just take tickets) and help in the hospitality room.

When: March 3  and 4, 2020

Shift:  multiple shifts available. 

Location: Centenary Gold Dome

 

You can volunteer for one or more days and for as many shifts as you would like to help with.

Volunteers needed for Step Forward

The Teen Advisory Committee at Step Forward is looking for Young Adult Facilitators to moderate a discussion on mental wellness. Training will be provided the day prior to the event date. The event date is Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm at BPCC, Bldg H (6220 E. Texas Street, Bossier City, LA 71111). Rose City Summer Camp volunteers needed!

The Mentoring Alliance in Tyler, TX is made up of three programmatic ministries, one being a summer camp program known as Rose City Summer Camps. This program partners with the local school district to provide two 45-minute academic times (Math & Reading), bible study, and loads of activities that make the summer an unforgettable experience. Our 10-week camp has ample opportunities for college students to bring both tangible help and eternal hope to the city of Tyler.

LA High School State Wrestling Championship 2020

Can you get a free t-shirt, get a meal and make a difference all at the same time?  

 

Yes, you can by volunteering for the LA High School State Wrestling Championships.  A State Championship is a memory that these athletes will carry with them for a lifetime. So help make this moment something to remember - volunteer today.

Perks:  volunteers will get a volunteer t-shirt, a meal on the shift they work and get free entry on the day or days they volunteer.

 

Volunteers needed for:

 

Team Check In – Check in teams at the door, check credentials and help keep the water and Gatorade containers filled. No experience needed.

 

Hospitality Room - Check credentials, serve food, keep hospitality area clean and help where ever needed. No experience needed.

 

Scoring table - Keep track of the officials calls and time at one of the wrestling mats. Knowledge of the sport is a plus but not a must.

 

When: Feb. 14 and 15, 2020

Shift:  multiple shifts available. 

Location: CenturyLink Center
