The Glen is an assisted living home looking for volunteers who like to have fun to make the lives of the residents more enjoyable. The residents have a joy for life and want to share it with others through activities, games, parties and more.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
Below is a list of areas where volunteers are needed:
- Calling Bingo
- Leading a Monthly Book Club
- Reviewing a book once a month
- Teaching a Craft or other hobby
- Interesting talks or demonstrations
- Helping people research their genealogy
- Teaching cornhole and overseeing the games
- Exercise for seniors – certified instructor
- Bean Bag Baseball – pick up bean bags
- Party committee - planning, set up, helping during party and take down
- Or if you have an idea for another fun or interesting activity
